I just ok’d the edited draft of “The Worm of the Waste” for the Unspeakable anthology. It should be coming out next month. I’m very excited to get my copy, both because it’ll be amazing to hold and see my own words in print and because all the other stories in the antho look extremely interesting.

I’ve updated the “Nine Roads” description page and added individual, slightly more extensive pages for all but two of the Roads so far. From each individual Road page I will eventually begin to add pages for specific orders or organizations strongly tied to that Road. Please feel free to comment and leave your thoughts.
I just finished “A Destroyer, A Protector” the prequel to “The Open Hand” at long long last. It took a while, since I stopped twice to revise “Guardian of the Green Node.” I’m reasonbly happy with it but I am, of course, looking for critters. Volunteers are welcome.
Also, I added a character blurb for Peter, the protaganist of some of my darker, “industrial” style stories to the Characters page.
Just noticed that The Key of the Twilight is at 1,001 views. One for each Arabian Night. Yay.
While working on “A Destroyer, a Protector”, my Zerieth prequel story today all of a sudden a minor throwaway character looked up at Zerieth and immediately transformed into a character I know will re-appear at some point later. This then sparked off an idea for a possible future story, and that sparked an idea for including this character in the Road-world novel idea I have. In fact a whole subplot with him and Zerieth has opened up.
Times like these make me want to kiss my muses.
I just added profiles to my “Characters” page for Hashito and Thomas, stars of my “T&H General Services” stories. They’re pretty basic so far, but I will be expanding as time goes on
“Guardian of the Green Node” was rejected from the Rise of the Necromancers anthology today. Its a little sad, because I wrote the story specifically for it and put a great deal of work into the piece. Thats ok though because there are many many other places I can send it. In fact, I already sent it out to Daily Science Fiction.
As you can see I’ve also changed the blog a little. I’m not totally happy with everything about this theme, but its organized and allows me to nest related pages, such as the individual character profiles within the Characters page more effectively than others. I will be adding more character profiles in the near future.
