So, I am returning at last to the blogosphere. I’ve already made several nifty updates to my site here. I’ve updated my publications page, most notably with my recent excellent story sale, “The Strange Machinery of Desire” to the December volume/issue of Stupefying Stories, the wonderful e-reader anthology series from Bruce Bethke. My story appears alongside a mystery piece by Trent Zelazny, son of Roger Zelazny the author of many famous books, including the “Changeling/Madwand” duology which has been somewhat influential on my own writing. I also have a new print appearance which marks the first publication of one of my “Universe of the Nine Roads” stories (although its an obscure corner thereof, since the story is also a fairytale adaptation): “The Red Flower” appearing in Twisted Fairytales Volume 2.
I’ve also started updating the information on my Nine Roads; so far I’ve got a new Nine Roads writeup and new entries for the White and Grey Roads, more to come soon.
Lastly, I am now at work on the Universe of the Nine Roads novel I’d spoken of in the past, having finished chapter 5 sometime last week or so.
Welcome back to the blogosphere!
Welcome back!
Glad to see you blogging. 🙂

Thanks MAP. Now go and take the Road test (it’s not really a test, I just like calling it that.)

Glad you’re back — and BIG congrats on the sales! Have you considered joining Write1Sub1? We have a weekly and a monthly participation level. Weekly was awesome last year with regards to my productivity, but I’m on the monthly plan this year to make room for my longer WiPs.
Honestly I am a little wary of things requiring specific commitments (though I don’t know the details of the particular thingy of which you speak) and, though I know I will still be doing shorts, I am trying to put the novel front and center, presently.
I’m glad you stopped by though…Cort may have told you, but if you want me to be able to comment on your blog, you must turn on the “name/url” posting option, as OpenId isn’t working for me for some weird reason, having probably been toyed with in some way by Steerpike’s monkey.
For some reason I still can’t get a comment to stick to your blog. Its getting frustrating.
